DIALOGUES INTRODUCTION

These dialogues are the result of another way I have tried to publicize my view of life which I have presented in   the last why: the poem and in the last why: the prose.  First of all I set up this web site in February '05. Then in April 'o6 I became a member of a philosophical forum at Ilovephilosophy.com, and posted "Life: a reaction to the void", an entry I originally made to my journal "views". The response to this posting has been quite good. (34,316 hits  to 05.21.09) The activity has resulted in a number of visits to my site but though I don't know what it will be, the current increasing number is not enough. So, in my continuing effort to solicit more visits to my site, I have with permission, copied my thread on ILP to this journal with the hope it will attract similar attention, and generate additional visits. [01/07/2011 This posting generated no interest. It is essential a souvenir of a 'trip' I took.]

notes regarding format: The pages correspond to the pages of my ILP thread. At the beginning of each post is the visiting author's name, the date of the post, the author's number, that of their reply, and the page number in brackets. An author's number with a superscript indicates a return visit after a break. On occasion a dialogue is interrupted so at the end of each entry there is a short break line followed by "con'd @ then the author's number and that of their next reply, for those who need to be reminded where they've been and where they are going. The bold print indicates my replies. At the top and bottom of each page is an index linking page numbers to pages. The integral link to comments on each page has been turned off but the word "comments" at the end of the index is a link to  "dialogue comments".

notes regarding comments: In addition to being able to comment on "dialogues" in "dialogues comments" and to leave general comments in the guest book, at the  end of "Life: a reaction to the void", at the end of "the last why the poem" or "the last why: the prose, at the end of each entry in my journal and at the end of each short poem there is a comments icon that opens comment pages specific to these articles. If you are inclined to comment on any of them, when you open the page you will see provision to include your email address. Unfortunately there is no note beside the address box to assure you the address remains hidden to other visitors and that I will only use it to thank you or tell you I have responded to your comment.
