ARIZONA SHOOTING SPREE

Now when Obama spoke about
The Arizona shooting spree
He said, "We'll come together" as
In all our human tragedy.

If that is true why is it that
Humanity is torn apart?
If tragedies united us
The shooting sprees would never start.

Our tragedies divide us all.
The conflict over what we earn,
Beliefs for which we fight and kill,
Are two of many that we learn.

To come together we can't wait
For tragedies to lead the way.
If we don't start to banish them
Then with our lives we'll surely pay.

Together
